Frequency monitoring for unit

Purpose

Frequency monitoring of your unit’s generator, turbine, and shaft-line system. Catch their characteristics and track changes in these to understand specific wear for the main components.

Reduce downtime caused by damage and corrective maintenance. Improve ability to do preventive maintenance.

Technical summary

Typically, analog signals from existing sensors for bearings and shaft are copied instead of mounting new sensors.

Both frequencies that are harmonics of the turning speed and other frequency-sweeps that are induced by flow vortexes can be monitored.
