The latest addition to our staff is Jarle Vikør Ekanger. He is MSc from NTNU, he graduated from the Energy and Environmental studies program, focusing mainly on fluid dynamics, but also on thermodynamics. He wrote his project and master theses at the Waterpower Laboratory, looking into swirling draft tube flows in his project thesis, and investigating the plausibility of morphing skins in hydroturbines in his master thesis. Jarle has experience from lab work, building Labview control systems, and simulation of turbomachinery using CFD-tools.
