FDB applies ANSYS-Fluent for calculation of various industrial flows; these include but are not limited to:

• Pressure loss calculations for various industrial systems.
• Free surface flows for marine applications.
• Heat transfer studies (convection/ conduction).
• Rotating machinery: Wind- and hydraulic turbines, compressors and pumps.
• Cavitation studies.

For consultancy works FDB normally receives a 3D model upon which we generate the necessary grid and perform the numerical analysis.  FDB can, through “AutoDesk-Inventor” and the  ANSYS native software “Gambit”, provide certain 3D modeling services.
